AMP Lab Faculty

Hello, I’m Isaac Zepeda, and I am a second year M.A. student in our English Graduate program and the new Graduate Assistant in the AMP Lab. I teach College Composition (ENC 1101 and 1102) for the Department of English and, for the Spring 2019 semester, I will get the opportunity to teach a Special Topics course titled “awaywithwords” that will have a focus on multimodal literacy and composition.

The AMP Lab is a place for instructors to expand their horizon in making their classes more accessible to their students through the integration of digital humanities tools and media production. For all the curious instructors, the lab (and myself) are at your deposal: from brainstorming on how to integrate various digital humanities tools and media production to holding class sessions and executing those plans. For any curious students, the AMP Lab is decked out with high-tech iMacs and various programs for you to create the perfect digital project.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me or swing by the AMP Lab in AL 240 to learn how the lab can work in your favor. You can also schedule time in the lab by completing this form or drop in during open lab hours which are on Tuesdays 3:30-7:00 pm for the Spring 2019 term.

The lab also has a calendar available for all current and upcoming events in the lab. Look forward to seeing you soon.
